 This is a series of paintings based on an idea I had many years before, of creating a deck of cards similar to the Tarot, but creating all the imagery from scrap out of my own peculiar obsessions. The only paintings that I completed were the following. Some of these would have been part of the Major Arcana, 24 numbered cards belonging to no particular suit. Some might have been numbered cards depending on what I ended up choosing for the suits. I had considered using more than 4 suits, in which case each suit would contain fewer individual cards. Possibly 6 suits with 8 or 9 cards each.
